My passion for photography began over 25 years ago - the first time I picked up a camera. The subjects and art of my photography is like life: varied, 3 dimensional, multi-faceted and a continual growing experience. It is the intimacy of life - its wonder, its largeness and smallness and range of detail and emotion that I strive to capture in my images. With patience, perception and opportunity my images are designed to move and stimulate the senses and emotions of the viewer.
Originally I was self-taught, and over recent years I regularly attend lectures, workshops and classes with the country's most recognized and accomplished photographers. My work includes color, black and white, reverse printing and handcoloring.
My passions for life and for photography are a perfect match to wedding photography - and I cover weddings throughout Northern and Central New Jersey.
Accomplishments and Recognitions
First, my accomplishments have to start with the opportunities I have had to donate my photography and services to causes and organizations such as ARC, American Red Cross, Make a Wish and various school PTAs.
Most recently I have joined the National Organization of Charitable Photographers and I am a member of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.
I will always welcome an inquiry for services as it is my pleasure and and with deep gratitude that I am able to get close to a cause, create imagery, capture meaning and give back.
On a more parochial level my achievements include placement in various photo competitions spanning local to international venues and events.
Recently I have placed in two different years with Photographers Forum (a competition of over 60,000 international entries - placements are in the top 6%), as well as a title with the first NW70 international call for entries.
Publications also span locally and nationally - including the national publications TeleFlora and Birds and Blooms Magazines and New Jersey Monthly.
